Next Cast now offers Inshore Fishing Charters!  

Hello!  My name is Captain Scott Smith.  I am a NC native, born and raised here in Eastern NC.  If getting on the water and setting hooks is your passion, don't hesitate to schedule a trip with me.  I guarantee a good time on the water, from hooksets, to amazing scenery, you will have a blast!  

We have an amazing inshore fishery for trout, redfish, and stripers!  

When you schedule a trip with Next Cast, the standard trip is 5 hours in length, and a 4 person limit.  A shorter/longer trip can be arranged after booking.  I am USCG certified and have all the appropriate safety equipment onboard.  I will provide all the fishing equipment, rods, reels, tackle, and there will be plenty of bottle waters onboard.  The only thing you will need to bring is other drinks, snacks, sunblock (non-aerosol), and preferred clothing such as hats, or rain gear.  

Once you are checking out, input all your information: Name, Address, Phone Numbers, and Email Address.  We will email you the liability waiver and touch base about the specific date and time of morning/afternoon that works best for you. Our goal is for this to be an amazing trip, so the more information we can gather from you the better.  

Cancellations:  We allow cancellations up to 2 weeks away from your scheduled trip for a 100% refund.  If the Captain has to cancel the trip within the two weeks, we will try to reschedule your trip.  If we can't coordinate a date that works for all parties, then a refund of 100% will be given.  If the trip is cancelled by the client within the 2 weeks prior to the trip, we will refund 75% off your trip fee.
